IECO takes the helm as agent for Icebreaker Snow -book series worldwide rights

POB Production Ltd. has signed contract with literary agency International Editors’ Co. (IECO), based in Barcelona, Spain. From now on, IECO represents Icebreaker Snow -book series rights world wide. Icebreaker Snow is an exciting book series that take both children and adults on real life inspired adventures on the icy seas.

The literary agency International Editors’ Co. was founded in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1939 by Dr. Hugo Lifezis and Anna Sherman Lifezis. They started off with authors such as Vicki Baum, Sigmund Freud, Stefan Zweig, and Alexander Lernet Holenia. In 1960 the Lifezis’s moved to Barcelona, Spain where they opened the IECO headquarters.

IECO represents a truly wide range of publishers and literary agencies predominately from North America, Germany, and the UK but also from Australia, India, China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Turkey, and South Africa, in all Spanish speaking countries throughout the world, in Portugal, and in Brazil. IECO is proud to be the co-agents for contemporary classics such as Thomas Mann, Bertolt Brecht, F. Scott Fitzgerald, W.H. Auden, John Dos Passos, J.D. Salinger, and Günter Grass among many others, as well as bestsellers including J.R.R. Tolkien, Jean M. Auel, Mary Higgins Clark, Mitch Albom, Kate Morton, Jacqueline Kelly, and Anna Todd etc.

POB aims at significant international growth that is based on developing the content, licencing, animation and IP management of Icebreaker Snow -book series characters. POB builds and develops the concepts, business and contract models and expert networks necessary for international growth. The long term goal of POB Production is to make Icebreaker Snow into an internationally recognized children’s character brand.
